Finishing Touches

Finishing touches are underway. We've started moving in, but are having to wait on some things because of finishing the floor, for example. Bathroom mirrors and shower stall doors will be installed next week. Some new furniture is being delivered this coming week, too, as well as the refrigerator and range. The painting is done, the carpet is installed. It's definitely feeling like a house that's ready for occupants. We do have our certificate of occupancy already--Yay!

Hardware time

Hardware has been installed on doors. And notice how shiny the floor is--it's been sealed. It'll get more coats, but just this step makes a tremendous difference.

Well, here it is... Paul with his flashy new squeeze box. Aren't they a pair?! It's a 4-year-old Weltmeister with a terrific folk sound and look, besides being 14 pounds lighter than his old accordion. Now Paul can be a happier wanderer on stage.

Kitchen sink, garbage disposal, dishwasher, microhood, tile backsplash and electrical outlets/switches.
